不得不说，杰里奥感到一阵惊喜。
就在杰里奥晃神的瞬间，轮到沃格特唱了：
“My power over you,
grows stronger yet！”
声音一入耳，不但杰里奥愣住了，连弗兰克都眼睛一缩，猛地扭头看向沃格特，甚至忘了接着唱下去！
事实上，所有人的惊呆了！
这嗓音！这神情！活脱脱是一个从十九世纪的法国走出来的魅影，完美无瑕！
安吉丽娜虽然也吃了一惊，不过她还记得他们在表演。她不着痕迹地拉了弗兰克一下，弗兰克勉强收敛心神，接着唱：
“And though you turn from me,
to glance behind……”
他一唱完，立刻死死盯着沃格特。
沃格特神情自若：
“The Phantom of the Opera is there,
inside my mind……”
这一次听得更清楚了，弗兰克如遭雷噬，整个人僵住了！
安吉丽娜：
“Those who have seen your face,
draw back in fear.
I am the mask you wear……”
轮到弗兰克的时候，他没有发出任何声音。尽管安吉丽娜不停给他使眼色，他也毫不理会。
沃格特伸出手放在安吉丽娜面前，引着她望向自己：
“It’s me they hear！”
安吉丽娜会意，不再看弗兰克，转向沃格特和他合唱：
“Your/my spirit and your/my voice in one combined:
the The Phantom of the Opera is there,
inside your/my mind……”
“He’s there,
the Phantom of the Opera……”
安吉丽娜深深注视沃格特。眼前的这个男孩，轮廓深邃，脸蛋迷人。他弧度优美的嘴巴一张一合，发出清亮激昂，富有穿透力和感染力的声音，他看着她的眼神带着一股说不出的诱惑和霸道，令她移不开目光。
“In all your fantasies,
you always knew that man and mystery……”
“……were both in you……”
她渐渐忽略了其他人，眼中只有他的存在，在他的引导下，她的口中逸出早已烂熟于心的旋律：
“And in this labyrinth,
where night is blind,
the Phantom of the Opera is there,
inside your/my mind……”
他命令：
“Sing!
My Angel of Music！
Sing！
Sing for me!”
安吉丽娜发出自己都难以置信的高亢喊声，一波接一波应和着：
“Ah……Ah……Ah……”
等她停下来的时候，所有人都目瞪口呆看着她！
安吉丽娜痛快地笑了起来！她觉得感觉前所未有的好！
沃格特没有停，继续唱：
“I have brought you to the seat of sweet music's throne.
To this kingdom where all must pay homage to music.
Music ……You have come here for one purpose and one alone.
Since the moment I first heard you sing,
I have needed you with me to serve me,
to sing for my music……
my music ……”
余音悠长低沉，激扬霸道的腔调一变，变得低回深沉：
“Night-time sharpens, heightens each sensation……”
Darkness stirs and wakes imagination.
Silently the senses abandon their defenses……”
沃格特看着安吉丽娜，魅影看着他的克莉斯汀，咏叹着如夜般温柔深浓的曲调：
“Slowly, gently, night unfurls its splendour.
Grasp it, sense it, tremulous and tender.
Turn your face away from the garish light of day,
turn your thoughts away from cold, unfeeling light,
and listen to the music of the night……
Close your eyes and surrender to your darkest dreams！
Purge your thoughts of the life you knew before！
Close your eyes, let your spirit start to soar！
And you'll live as you've never lived before……”
沃格特把迷醉的安吉丽娜轻轻一推，推到一脸失魂落魄、悲喜难明的弗兰克面前，给了他一个友好鼓励的眼神。
弗兰克怔怔地垂头盯着地上的某一点，再抬起头时，他已经恢复了平静，看着安吉丽娜：
“Softly, deftly, music shall caress you,
Hear it, feel it, secretly possess you.
Open up your mind, let your fantasies unwind,
in this darkness which you know you cannot fight——
the darkness of the music of the night……
Let your mind start a journey through a strange, new world！
Leave all thoughts of the world you knew before！
Let your soul take you where you long to be！
Only then can you belong to me……”
杰里奥露出微笑，他向着沃格特和弗兰克一抬手，沃格特和弗兰克同时开口：
“Floating, falling, sweet intoxication！
Touch me, trust me, savour each sensation！
Let the dream begin, let your darker side give in
to the power of the music that I write——
the power of the music of the night……
You alone can make my song take flight,
help me make the music of the night……”
两把美妙的男声交织在一起，配合得天衣无缝，丰沛的感情直击人心，台下好几个年轻人纷纷红了眼睛。
当最后一个音符落下时，现场爆发热烈的掌声！
弗兰克舒了一口气，自他刻骨铭心的旋律里清醒，他复杂地看着沃格特，喃喃道：“迈克尔.克劳福德……”
